"Checking in" is a topic that we start on the first of each month. We suspect that we have a good number of members who read the messages regularly but who don't post very often. Maybe that's because their dogs are doing well, or they don't have a Cushing's dog anymore, or they haven't got any questions to ask, or maybe they don't feel very comfortable about posting answers to other members' questions. It's perfectly understandable and acceptable for folks to only post once in a while, but when we don't hear from people, many of us find ourselves wondering what those folks have been up to recently and how their dogs are doing.

It's always preferable to post updates about your Cushing's dog in your own thread/topic (especially if you want feedback/replies from other members) but you can also post a quick reply here if you just want to say hi and let everyone know how you are doing in general.

We'd love to hear from you! :)

Checking in! My "Cush Pup" is 2 years gone (not from Cushings) but Im still around.
Because I/we know the freakout/urgency to find answers to your worries....
And at minimum, Im a holding pattern until those who know can offer advice.

Just to let you know... you are not alone!

That is so sweet and so sorry for your loss. My Ginger passed 3 months ago March 7th. She was Cushing's, then flipped to Addison's, but the folks here have been so kind and supportive they have stood by me through it all and continue to. Being here and posting helps me feels a special bond for which I am grateful.

Oh Jonathan and Colleen,
You two being here is more treasured than you know. You both, and your furbabies, will always be family here!

Hi Terry! I am back with my Suni girl and a suspected cushings diagnosis. Been doing a lot of reading, reminiscing and re-educating cause I am afraid I am going to once again travel the cushings road with my baby.

I am still in awe of all the knowledge and support this site affords those in need. It is, has always been, and will always be near and dear to this old heart. Seems right being "home" again!
