Hello,

Ive been working for the past 2 hours telling my story and entering in all the test results. I was almost there when something went wrong and I lost all my text. AARGH! Is nn coythere someway to save my text along the way?

I will try again and soon, you will learn about my Yorki Bella and her diagnoses. In the meantime she seems to be doing fairly well with exception to eating. She will eat ! just not what she is supposed to. I was given the Hills food once diagnosis was made she ate it once and wont eat anymore. but she will gladly eat chicken and treats. She is stubborn that's for sure.
But I was advised chicken is not the best option as it is allergenic. And they suspect some Gi troubles as well.

Any home cooked recipes would be welcomed. Since I am new , I m slowly learning to navigate.

Also when I post our story, Ive read to just post the low and high numbers from all her tests.. Is this correct.

Thank you,
Laurel

Hello Laurel, and welcome to you and little Bella. Omigosh, it is sooooooooo frustrating when you lose a reply in the midst of trying to post it :-(((((((

Take a look at this thread, and it will give you some tips:

http://www.k9cushings.com/forum/showthread.php?1329-Attention-Members-How-to-stay-logged-in-while-typing-long-replies

Most importantly, whenever you log in, always be sure to place a check in the “Remember Me” box that is placed below your username. That way, your “presence” here is auto-saved and you are never timed out of the site until you choose to log off yourself. Another tip is to compose your post elsewhere, like in a word processing document, and then copy and paste it into the “Reply” box here. That way, if there’s ever a glitch you will still have it saved elsewhere.

So when you gather the energy, do try again. And yes, all we need to see are lab values that are abnormally high or low, along with the normal reference range.

Once again, welcome!
Marianne

Hello again

I did everything I was supposed too. I was logged in put the check mark in. Once I submitted my post , go the you are not logged in and everything was lost. Is there someone who would be willing to have a phone conversation? I notice when I navigate from page to page my password and login box are empty.

Thank You Kindly,

Laurel

Hmmmmm....I’m really puzzled as to what may be going wrong for you :-(((

You’ll see that I’ve combined your two threads, and I also removed your phone number for the protection of your privacy. Our forum can be publicly viewed by anybody, anywhere in the world. So it’s best not to print information that can invite unwanted contact by a stranger. Plus, in honesty, there’s really nothing we can tell you over the phone that we can’t write here. So let’s keep trying to help you.

If your username and password are not appearing as you navigate between pages, then you’ve already been logged out for some reason. As far as checking the “Remember Me” box, try checking that before you even type in your username and password. Then make sure the checkmark is still there before you click the log-in button. If you can confirm that it’s still checked when you click the log-in, you really should not be logged out again until you manually do so yourself.

One other tip: if you’re composing your reply here rather than pasting it in from elsewhere, first select the “Go advanced” button before starting to type. Then, periodically click on the “Preview Post” button while you are writing. Don’t wait until the very end. Whenever you click on the “Preview” button, whatever you’ve written up to that point will be saved. But really, the safest thing is to compose a long reply elsewhere, and then simply copy and paste it into the reply window here. That way, it will only take a moment to get your reply processed and posted.

Are you running Firefox? If so that may be the problem...tho I can't tell you why. When our site was first updated recently the same thing was happening to me plus I kept getting messages, FREQUENT messages, that the site was unsafe. I had to uninstall then reinstall Firefox and things have worked like they should since. If you are on a phone then I can't help as I am an old dinosaur who doesn't use a smart phone. :D
