Cushex vs Lignans

Hi,


my maltese has been on Lignans for the past few months and does OK with them, but my vet recommends Cushex. Could anyone compare the two for me? Any pros or cons of one vs the other?

Hi Tina,

Welcome to you and your furbaby! Lignans are used with melatonin for the treatment of Atypical Cushing's which is when one or more of the adrenal sex hormones are elevated but the cortisol is not. As for the Cushex, some of our members report that it has helped with the Cushing's symptoms but only for a short time.
