One of our former members has a cat with kidney issues and is having to use IDEXX's new SDMA kidney test frequently. She is a VERY diligent mom so she called IDEXX to talk about the results her cat is showing....and was told she should not be paying for the SDMA because it is given to the vets for free right now. This test is only 2 years old and because it is so new IDEXX is not charging for it yet. My friend with the cat is also VERY mistrusting so she called back the next day to ask someone else about the cost of this test and was also told it's free. So if you have this test done make sure your vet is not charging you for it....according to IDEXX the vet is not paying for it yet so they shouldn't be charging us. ;)
