Hello and welcome to you and your dog! We're very glad you've found us. As you can see, I've taken the liberty of moving your post so as to create a thread that is your very own. This way, it will be much easier for our members to reply to you directly.
We'd love to learn more about your dog. Can you tell us more about the symptoms and testing that led to the Cushing's diagnosis? Also, how much does he/she weigh, and what dose of trilostane is he/she starting out on? Figuring out the dose will involve two pieces of information: how many mg. of trilostane is suspended in each ml. of liquid, and how much liquid is being taken in each dose. Both pieces of info should be on the label of the bottle.
Once again, we're really glad you've found us, and we wish you the best on your treatment journey.

Hello and welcome from me too.
How much does your golden weigh and what dose of trilostane did they start with?
Also as Marianne asked, what where the results of the diagnostic cushing tests and any blood work that has been done?
This information helps us to give you better feed back.
Also be aware of what to watch out for when on cushing meds - any vomiting, diarrhea, won't eat, can't stand (wobbly), etc, immediately stop meds and get a follow up ACTH test as this can be a sign of overdose.
We never know how any given dog will react to any medication so these are things that you need to be aware of.
The current recommended starting dose of trilostane is 1mg/1lb of weight (the reason we always ask about weight and dosage) Not all vets are as aware of this change to dosing instructions from the manufacturer.
