Lignans pill/capsule size

If there is anyone here using lignans for their cush baby could you post a pic of the size of the pill or cap you are using? Place it beside a dime or similar object to give a perspective I can see. ;) OR give actual measurements - length and circumference. And let me know the brand you are using.

Hi Leslie, for my baby I used the brand , Lignans for Life. Sorry I don`t have the bottle anymore as it has been a couple of years . You can look them up. And if I remember right, they have people that will talk to you. Best to you and your sweetie.

Leslie -- don't forget that you can grind up the pills or open up the larger capsules and "re-package" it in smaller capsules. When I was giving Maggie lignans, I had a great deal of difficulty finding small capsules -- unfortunately, the one that finally worked (Jarrow's Flax Essence) is no longer available.

Hey Les, don't know if you care whether the source is flax hulls vs. HMR lignans, but you can get flax hulls in a bulk powder from Lignans for Life. Per their blurb, it can then be sprinkled on food or added to smoothies. They cater to Cushpups there, as well as humans. So as a Dawn says, I'll bet they'd be happy to help you. I am very hesitant to try the powder or hulls. Trinket will simply stop eating if there is something in her food she doesn't like. So I am looking for something I can use the pill dough with. She has not balked at taking her meds in the dough when put in her food so I hope the lignans will work the same. I hadn't thought of grinding and repackaging however.... OR about putting the powder in a capsule....hummmmm

Ok...so UTK recommends 1mg/lb of the hulls which would mean Trink needs about 5mg. Lignansforlife says their small scoop holds 6mg of SDG....this may work after all! Now to get a capsule packing rig....
