Hi All,
My baby, Roxy, has cushings and thyroid disease. She is a 13 year old Shih-tzu that has been the picture of health until about 4 months ago. I completely missed all the classic signs (increased urination and thirst) and thought it was just "old age". She was diagnosed in an emergency room while panting and trembling. We had an ultra sound performed to determine whether she had an adrenal tumor or a pituitary tumor. They ruled out the adrenal tumor and she is now taking Trilostane and thyroid medication. She seems to be improving, but this week has started showing a new symptom...intermittent but severe sneezing that will last for hours. I know this sounds strange, but it seems to be more noticeable on the right side of her face.. any thoughts would be helpful...
