Hi everyone! My baby girl was diagnosed on November 17th with Cushings. Her name is Nibbles, she is 10 years old (11 in February or March; my son got her at a car show where he saw someone giving away puppies so we aren't sure of an exact birthday) and she is a schnauzer/lab mix. I am totally heartbroken over this! I've been reading a lot on here. There's a ton of great information, but it's all so overwhelming! :( I don't have her test results to post, but I will get them. In the meantime, can someone tell me where I can find the app to download?

Hello and welcome to you and sweet Nibbles! We surely understand why all this info feels overwhelming, but we will do our very best to help you sort through things step-by-step. ;)

That will be great if you can get ahold of Nibbles' test results. Also, can you tell us more about Nibbles' overall health history, as well as the symptoms that led to the Cushing's testing and diagnosis? Thanks so much in advance for anything you care to share.

As far as an app, I believe "Forum Runner" is the best option for vBulletin forums such as ours.

Once again, welcome to you and your girl.

Oh my goodness I just spent 20 minutes typing the "Story of Nibbles" & when I hit the submit reply, I got the " you are not logged in" message! I will try to get the time tomorrow(or later tonight if possible) to reply again.

Welcome to you and Nibbles! One tip that might help in posting is to actually type the post into Notepad (or whatever editor you're comfortable using), then just copy and paste onto the forum. That way you have it available if the forum or internet isn't cooperative. :)

Thank you! It's a busy day today so I may not have the time until later to type the information out. I won't have her labs until Dec 1st. I'll post all numbers at that time. I will give a history of Nibbles & our journey together.

There's nothing more frustrating than getting logged off before getting a reply posted. In addition to Shana's excellent suggestion, here are some more tips to help avoid that problem. ;)
