Good morning
I am new to this site. Have have a few photos I would like some advice on. I wrote a really long post but it would upload now av lost it and I have to get my Toby back to the vets. Toby is about years and is a Patterdale Terrier,he has been very poorly last couple of days and has been to emergency vets 2. I believe from reading on here that Toby has cushing. And a skin problem. I have attached link to photos below. They are not very good but any advice would be greatful we are now off to see a different vet has the last one didn't even notice how bad all his skin is.
Thanks sorry for not explaining in more detail I will later when I get home.

Hi and welcome to you and Toby! :)
Cushing's typically doesn't come on suddenly, as in over a couple of days. Usually we think our baby is just getting older and we see things like:
• increased/excessive water consumption (polydipsia)
• increased/excessive urination (polyuria)
• urinary accidents in previously housetrained dogs
• increased/excessive appetite (polyphagia)
• appearance of food stealing/guarding, begging, trash dumping, etc.
• sagging, bloated, pot-bellied appearance
• weight gain or its appearance, due to fat redistribution
• loss of muscle mass, giving the appearance of weight loss
• bony, skull-like appearance of head
• exercise intolerance, lethargy, general or hind-leg weakness
• new reluctance to jump on furniture or people
• excess panting, seeking cool surfaces to rest on
• symmetrically thinning hair or baldness (alopecia) on torso
• other coat changes like dullness, dryness
• slow regrowth of hair after clipping
• thin, wrinkled, fragile, and/or darkly pigmented skin
• easily damaged/bruised skin that heals slowly
• hard, calcified lumps in the skin (calcinosis cutis)
• susceptibility to infections (especially skin and urinary)
• diabetes, pancreatitis, seizures
As you can see skin changes are among the signs associated with Cushing's. On this list is also an uncommon complication called Calcinosis Cutis which is deposits of calcium in the skin when then start breaking thru the skin leaving raw open sores behind. Here is an image of CC:

I'm not sure based on your pics if this is CC in your baby or not but seeing dermatologist vet can give you an answer pretty quickly if the vet you see today doesn't have one for you. If this is CC, then it is just about assured your baby does have Cushing's as it is rare for CC to show up otherwise.
When you get home, we would love to read that long post that got lost. It happens when we aren't used to a forum like ours so here is a link that will help you figure out how to keep that from happening. http://www.k9cushings.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1329
We do LOVE details so the more you can tell us the better. Don't worry about writing a book - as you will see, some of us are rather chatty. :D We also like to see actual test results, not the invoice info but the actual numbers from the testing done, so it's a good time to get in the habit of asking for copies every time Toby has any testing done.
We also ask lots of questions so I have a few for you right now - how old is Toby? I think your fingers slipped in your original post and the number didn't get entered. ;)
How much does he weigh?
Does he have any other health issues?
Is he on any meds, supplements, or herbs?
I look forward to hearing more from you later today when and your sweet boy get home.
Hugs,
Leslie and the gang
