Good morning all. My dog Lexi--we think is maybe a Shiba Inu/Corgi mix (35 lbs) was just diagnosed with Cushings. She has been peeing and drinking a lot of water. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on the most cost-effective pharmacy to use? Currently, she is on 30mg dosage.

Hello and welcome to you and Lexi! As you'll see, I've moved your reply so as to create a thread that is your very own. This way, it'll be much easier for our members to reply to you directly.
Are you giving Lexi brandname Vetoryl? If so, you can Google Vetoryl and do some comparative pricing. I personally encourage folks to use internet pharmacies that carry "VIPPS" approval:

I'm sure folks will be stopping by with personal suggestions. In the meantime, can you share more specifics about Lexi's diagnosis and symptoms? Thanks so much in advance.

I just want to say hello and welcome to the forum.
I know some have used Lamberts. 30mg x 30 count is $54.99.
As long as it is a reputable pharmacy as Marianne mentioned, you should be okay and price shopping around is worth it as sometimes you will find it is better shipping or if you buy 2 months it is cheaper, that sort of thing.
This is just to give you an idea of the relative pricing from an online pharmacy.

Thank you for the info on internet pharmacies. NEED that badly. We got our first 2 week dose from the vet $81.00 (for 30 10mg pills). If this continues...... I'll be homeless on the streets. :( :( I'll check out some of the recommendations. Please let me know if you find one that is TRUSTED.
Thanks,
Wendy

We have had members use the lamberts that I mentioned. Valley vet I think is another. California Pet a Pharmacy. For compounded many use Diamondback.
Some use a combination of brand name and compounded. It depends on the dosage you need in that not all fall within the do sage that brand name comes in.
