Calcinosis Cutis caused by Prednisone

My dog has been on Prednisone for about 3 months. Out of nowhere started developing CC. She is now covered. There is no doubt that this condition was CAUSED by the prednisone. Hopefully with her now off the pred she will recover. Thanks for the info on this thread!

Hi, checking in to see how your baby is doing now the steroids have been stopped. Is the cc changing or getting better?

Remember to keep the area clean and dry. They can be prone to bacterial infections so a spray antibiotic might be a good investment too.
