Well hello everyone! I wanted to post a quick update. I'm a college graduate finally! Graduated in May, passed my board exam, and got a job working at a nursing home. I'm officially a certified occupational therapy assistant and I love it! Sammie is doing well, my mom has been having a lot of health issues and has been in the hospital for the last 5 weeks. Still missing my babies rebel and Sadie but Sammie keeps me on my toes with her high strung self! Hope everyone is well.

Oh Melissa, it's great to see you back here and we are so proud of you!! You've had such a long road to travel, and you surely deserve some peace and joy as a reward! I'm so sorry about your mom's illness, though, because I know it must be such a big worry. I hope she stabilizes very soon.

Oh! Melissa! SO good to hear from you again! And congratulations on graduating...tho I never doubted you would! You didn't have an easy go of it with all that happened during your schooling days but you persevered and conquered! I am so PROUD of you! And I know Rebel and Sadie are very proud of their mom.

I am sad to hear your mom is having such a hard time. But I am sure you are a blessing to her in many ways.

Give Sammie a hug and belly rub for me! And pop in more often if you can!

Ahh details... well the day was almost a blur but it was beautiful and everything I could have imagined. Is was April 29 this year so it's only been little over 2 weeks ��
We honeymooned in the Smokies and that was amazing.
Sammie is doing well. She's on phenobarbital twice a day but has had no seizures in quite some time. We see the vet every 6 months for blood work. She will always be an only dog cause she hates any others we try and bring around and she's flat out mean. Plays well with cats however ������

Well, your wedding pix are just beautiful and I'm so happy for you! :)

I'm also so glad Sammie is doing well and enjoying her life as Queen Bee :p. We were so lucky in that our Peg really responded well to phenobarb, too. She was able to go seizure-free for the last six years of her life. Sadly, we lost her last summer due to orthopedic issues, and we worried so much that our younger girl, Luna, would go into mourning without her big sister. But instead, she has really blossomed as an only child. So we're not feeling a need to add to our family right now, either.

Once again, it's great to have you back and especially with such lovely news to share. Please continue to keep us updated, OK?

Well Curt and I have decided to expand our new little family. By 2 legs this time! Sammie will have a new brother or sister coming in September! We are beyond excited and can’t wait to meet our new little one. We just hope Sammie’s I’m the baby attitude will adjust 😂

It has been a rough few months as I’ve been extremely sick and lost 18 lbs, but over the last week things have started to improve. We have 1 more week and the I’ve cleared my first trimester. Prayers that the pregnancy goes well and we have a healthy baby are appreciated. Love you guys! 😍

Congratulations on the growing family, Melissa! I was very overweight when I got pregnant with my daughter. I started throwing up 30 min after conception and continued all the way to the delivery table. :D:D I lost over 50lbs and my OB was concerned. At one point he told me the baby was small - she came out weighing 9lbs 2 ozs. I told him if he EVER told me I was having a big baby there would be a fight. LOL

I pray things settle down for you and the new little one fits in just fine with Sammie the Baby. ;)

Hey Melissa, congrats from me, too, and it’s so good you have you back!!! You’ll see I’ve merged your last few threads so we’ve got all your updates here in one spot. My mom was sick as a dog during the first part of both her pregnancies, too, and I guess I turned out alright, regardless — HA! :-))))))))) On my birthdays, I always thank her for going through that for me ;-).

The vomiting has finally slowed down and I’ve been eating more and gaining a few pounds. Dr said all is well and I’m out of the first trimester. Next month we find out if Sammie gets a baby brother or sister! Thanks for the well wishes. Hope all is well with everyone.

SO glad that is getting better! I know how awful that part of pregnancy can be. Now starts the growing phase and soon your feet will disappear! :D Let us know when you find out if it's to be blue or pink balloons!

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven’t gotten back to you. It was pink! We now have a sweet baby girl. Kathryn Renae Cooper born 8/30/2018 weighing 6 lbs 10 oz and was 18” long. We are over the moon in love! I’m trying to add pictures but having a hard time. Keeps saying file too large. Even though it’s pictures from my phone. Any suggestions?

She’s now 7 weeks old and doing great. I only have one more week until I have to go back to work so that has me pretty sad.

Hi everyone. I know it’s been a long time but life has been really busy!! Our baby girl Katy is now 19 months old and has recently become a big sister to a new baby girl Raelyn MaKenna!! She was 6 lbs 15 oz and 19.25” long. I have added some pictures to a new album. We are all doing well and adjusting to all the changes. Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe with this virus!!
