My darling Ginger was dx today as having Cushings Syndrome. She is a gentle soul. Ginger is a rescue dog from a high kill shelter. She is now 9 and we have had her for 8.5 years. I fear that I will be unable to afford the treatment this baby needs. I can't get my avatar to display her pic. She may be part walker coonhound/pitt mix. I have 3 other rescue dogs.

What symptoms led to your taking Ginger in for cushing tests?

Have you have blood lab work done and if so can you post the results that are not within range, such as example:
ALKP 550ug range 50 - 150 ug

What test was done to diagnose the cushings and can you post those results please?

What treatment have they suggested?
If starting medication such as vetroyl, the new guidelines suggest starting at not more than 1mg/1lb.
