An article published in the New York Times website recently warns about the dangers of location info (geotags) in pictures you take - What the Internet Can See From Your Cat Pictures (http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/23/upshot/what-the-internet-can-see-from-your-cat-pictures.html). (this is relevant to dogs too...)

In a nutshell, if you take pictures of your dogs with a smartphone that has geotagging enabled and post them on the web, strangers can learn where you live by looking at the location info embedded in the pictures. You can disable geotagging (http://icanstalku.com/how.php#disable) or remove location info from pictures (http://fieldguide.gizmodo.com/remove-location-data-from-your-photos-before-sharing-th-1593773810), before you post them on the web.

Wow, thanks! I keep my location services turned off on all my iOS devices, but I did check anyway.;) I never thought to do it on my Windows laptop.
