Hi Julie and welcome to you and Ollie! :)
I moved your post from another thread so Ollie could have his own place where we can all talk with you about his care. You will post everything pertaining to Ollie here and that way all his info will be in one place. ;)
I am assuming Ollie is on Vetoryl (Trilostane)? Could you tell us how much he weighs and what dose he is on? Does he take it once or twice a day?
I'm glad you found us and look forward to learning more as time passes. Keep your chin up - Cushing's is NOT a death sentence and our babies can and do live out their full lifespan and beyond often. ;)

Sorry Ollie got diagnosed with Cushings, but with proper care and medication he can begin to feel better and do well. Everyone here will be a huge help to you. My 9 year old dog is on Trilostane/vetoryl. Which drug is Ollie on? The more info you can post about Ollie the better....then everyone here can give you great advice and suggestions. :)

Welcome and sorry to hear that Ollie was diagnosed with Cushings. In order for everyone to get a good picture of what is going on could you post Ollie's abnormal results and the normal reading for them from your lab as they are all different. What type of Cushings was he diagnosed with? Have you have an ultra sound? What were Ollie's symptoms?
How much does Ollie weigh? What type of drug is he on and what is the amount you are giving? Is your vet experienced with Cushings? Do you have prednisone on hand in case his cortisol drops too low? You dog can live out his life as long as you are vigilant and watch for signs of trouble. We have all been through this and I know first hand how scary the diagnosis is. I cried for week son end hearing my dog had Cushings. It will be ok and we will all help and support you thru this. Keep copies of all tests for yourself and make a daily doggie diary you will need it. Blessings
