Hello everyone, I have been fostering a Austrailan Silky with Cushings. We have been going to various Yorkie911 Adoption events for the last 6 months, in the hope that someone will adopt Streaks. As soon as they hear has Cushings. They no longer want him.:( On july 21, 2013 Streaks started taking Vetoryl (triostane). The transformation has been amazing, He looks so much better and happier:).Below is his web page at Yorkie911 which is located on Long Island, New york.

What a precious boy. People are afraid of the word Cushings because they don't know enough about it. He looks like a very loving little chap and I hope that he is adopted soon.

Where are you located and what are you charging for the adoption? Are you working with Yorkie911 as a foster?

Yes, I'm volunteering with yorkie911 . Streaks is the 14th dog I've fostered. He is affectionate and likes to walk around carrying a toy,it's so cute. I also have two Chihuahuas and a maltipoo. He gets along with my dogs. They have allowed him to be the leader. Streaks adoption fee is $250.
Below is streaks web page. Yorkie911 is in Deer park New York. Which is on long island. Heidi Walker is the founder of Yorkie911. Telephone 631-965-6418

Just checking in again on little Streaks. What a cutie-pie he is!
This probably goes without saying, but please do encourage any potential adoptive parents who have concerns about Cushing's to stop by here to talk over their worries. Since Streaks has been doing so well with his treatment, perhaps we can help folks chart a realistic course that would allow them to feel more comfortable about welcoming Streaks into their family. There are some cost-saving measures of which we are aware that can lessen the monitoring/medication expense significantly for a Cushpup of Streaks' size.
Please give the little guy some pats for all of us here!

MODERATOR NOTE: I have merged your post about Streaks this morning into your original thread. We normally like to keep all posts about each pup in a single thread as it makes it easier for members to refer back to the pup's history when needed. Thanks!
