Oh Sharon,
I am so sorry about this. You are completely registered so there is no worries there. When you log on next time remember to click the tiny box beside the text Remember Me (this will help).
Also it is a good idea on long posts to occasionally highlight and copy what you have written.
It sounds as though your pup may have calcinosis cutis. But first when you get the chance post any test results you have had so far - either if you are just going through diagnosis OR if in treatment right now. And if in treatment right now, post the results of the your most recent ACTH test.
Hang in there

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Sometimes if it is a long post, I've written in textpad and then copy pasted it over. Another option if you are worried is to copy and past it before you hit "post" just in case it's been awhile to write it, so you don't lose anything. After you've done a few posts you get the feel for the forum and this becomes very rare.
Let us know more about your boy and what is going on when you get the chance.

Hi and welcome from me also:)
You have come to the right place. You will find knowledgeable and compassionate help here. It is a place to voice your fears and frustrations and well as share your triumphs. Questions are welcome and encouraged. I know, I asked what seems like hundreds of them!
I am so sorry that you lost all of your long post that you typed out.
That happened to me right in the middle of typing out all of my dogs test results. Just to be on the safe side, when I have a long post, I type it out in my notepad and then copy and paste it into the forum.
That seems to work well for me. I hope to hear from you soon.

To save long posts here without the copy / pasting, simply hit the "Preview post" button at the bottom from time to time and what you have written will save and can be edited.
