My Joey was diagnosed with Cushings 4yrs ago now. However, where he can usually drink vast amounts of water, tonight he's been walking up and down and won't drink.
We're a bit worried, he's never gone off his water before.

Hi and welcome to you and Joey,
So sorry for the reasons that brought you here but so glad you found us.
Is Joey being treated for his Cushing's? If so could you tell us what medicine is being used, the dosage amount, and how many times a day he gets his medicine. Could you post his most recent ACTH stim results. Also how much does Joey weigh?
Is Joey vomiting or does he have diarrhea? If Joey is being treated with either Lysodren or Trilostane it could very well be that his cortisol has dropped too low and he should be seen by a vet ASAP. Do you have prednisone on hand?
I hope Joey feels much better soon and am looking forward to hearing more about your sweet boy.
Love and hugs,
Lori

I agree - it could be that the dose is now too high. We see it frequently where a dog that seems to be on autopilot with a certain dose all of a sudden goes low. Wow 18 yrs old! Congrats and give him a hug. Kim

Hello and welcome to the forum.
How is Joey doing now? Had he settled down any? Is he still having problems? Did you take him to the vet?
Let us know when you get a chance.
