I miss you Mel. xxxxx

I can squeeze you all in for sure!!! That would be so awesome, wait until the middle of winter when you will all need a summery break away!
Our times are closer together again Kathy, just gone 8pm here so we might see a bit more of each other for the next few months. Well at least it is Friday night here and I do not have to be back at work till next Thursday am, so a nice little break with Flynn's appointment in Auckland.
I bought a box of choccies as they all are very cheap at the moment, in big Christmas displays at the supermarket. I am meant to be taking them to my friends but I am a 1/4 way through them already :eek:

Hello Trish, can't remember the last time we were all here together. Good to know you can fit us all in as I can imagine a fair few would want to visit :D
I will be in and out today cause of meeting but if you need me to keep an eye or help in any way send me a mail Kathy
Chocolate is a good way to help with stress not good for your waist but tastes great :D

Well I might have to put bunks in the lounge!! My house is only 2 bedrooms and one is mine and Flynn's so first one here gets the other one then it's every K9C'ers and pups for themselves :D:D:D Ohhh its warm enough for a tent! Or we can all go sleep up the beach and listen to the waves, light a fire, roast marshmallows and have a BBQ!! That sounds good :D

I dont do camping. I bagsy sharing with Flynn. I don't mean that to sound as snobby as it does I just like facilities and a bed (wonder who Tia got her princess qualities from!)
Trish
11-15-2013, 03:38 AM
Haha well he does have a big bed and a nice big pad next to it in case he wants to stretch out for a while so I am sure he will let you in Mel! I could sort the garage out too, camp stretchers out there :D:D But no loo haha

In a perfect world our fur babies would remain healthy and happy our entire lives and we'd cross the rainbow bridge together. I long for a perfect world.
Buddy crossed over 4 1/2 months ago. I'd do most anything to see his toothy smile one more time. :o:(

And I would give just about anything to hear a cute story of something Buddy did. I wish too that you could see your precious Lizard Hunter. I miss hearing all his little antics. Blessings

I was thinking the exact same thing Patti. Wouldn't it be great to be able to hear about Buddy having his great adventures chasing the lizards and guarding the window seat.

Kathy:
I hate to say it, but for some I think that is a long time coming. I am attached at the hip with Tipper so I can only imagine what you have been going through. I think when you have one of these babies and they are your world, the devastation is so great, that it almost impossible to come back from that place. Every time a baby passes on here it just tears my insides up. I think you are doing a good job with your loss, you are a strong woman Kathy. Blessings

Dear Kathy
Want you are going through is normal. We love them so much that when they die a part of us dies with them. Write to Buddy, hold his things, talk to him.
It is a little over a year since my Apollo died and it still hurts. I can now talk about the love and memories he left me. The pain is still there and it can creep up at any time. I just let it happen.
Love Sonja and Angel Apollo

Awwww Buddy is still there, maybe not physically but when you close your eyes he materialises hunting his lizards and keeping you company. I am sure all the pups that pass are still close to us in some way. Big Hugs Sweet xxxx

Aww Kathy, a year after my kitten died, I was taking a bath and just started sobbing. There is no time limit for grief. Buddy was huge in your life. This time of year can sometimes make things even harder.

I still cry at times for babies that are long gone, decades gone. But that simply tells me how very much love I still hold for them and the impact they had on my life. I wouldn't trade that for anything....except to have them all back again. ;)

Yes, thank you Patti. This is an emotional holiday season for many of our angels. :o My thoughts, prayers and loving hugs go out to all of you. We will all push forth cradled in the circle of love our fur angels have so lovingly created for us.
Thinking of you and yours and sending hugs and love:):)

I hope you and your family along with Rosie have a great holiday season. I am sorry you have to be sick, so please take care of yourself so you are feeling better when school starts up again. I hope you can get thru this first Christmas, as I know Buddy will be looking down on you. Blessings

So sorry you were so sick for Christmas. I hope you got to enjoy some of it. Did you get that little monkey girl some new toys? I hope you are better by now. It's a shame your whole break from school was spent being sick. Blessings

Bumping up for those asking about the Prednisone/Trilostane combo for treating probable Pituitary Macro-tumors. This treatment is designed to reduce swelling around the tumor to buy a little more quality time. It is not a cure. The tumor will continue to grow and eventually take over. It allowed Buddy to do what he loved a little longer. The specifics of his treatment are detailed in this thread.
I don't mind PM messages. However everything that you need to know about Buddy's treatment is in this thread. I logged everything! The good, the bad and the ugly.

It is with a heavy heart that I ask you to change the title of this thread and close it for read only. Buddy's journey and struggle ended over 13 months ago. Although he remains in my heart and every waking thought, Our mighty lizard Hunter has moved on and so must I. He will always be loved, cherished and remembered on his very special memory thread.
Please change the title of this thread so that those searching for information on macro tumors, will have a place to start. I do hope that others are able to learn something from Buddy's journey. He was such a loving and giving little guy. I'm sure that will make him very happy.
I would like the title changed to....
Buddy, The Mighty Lizard Hunter - Suspected Pituitary Macro Tumor
Thank you so much,
