I am so sorry. :o Poppy has joined our other fur babies at the rainbow bridge. They will watch out for her now. I lost my Buddy earlier in the year. I know how much it hurts.
Big hugs,
Kathy

Thank you all so very much. We have been totally floored by Poppy's passing...it all happened so quick. She ended up just a little scrap of a thing but she has left a massive void in our lives. I have sent her photo to be added to the In Memoriam page, and it feels lovely that you all are keen to remember her.
I have never been on a forum where people are so kind, caring and thoughtful as this one. Just a pity we couldn't have "met" under different circumstances xx

I am so very sad to read this. Poppy was such a dear and so well loved. The tears are just rolling down. I know your heart is broken and wish there was a way to make it all better.
My sincerest condolences.

Thanks Sharlene, you were a great help me in my quest to get Poppy well again.
I'm very sad today and feel cheated that my baby only (just) made 13. However my husband asked before what would I rather have: a plain dog with no personality who lives till they're 18 or an angel like Poppy, full of fun and love who was taken from us ages before her time. I chose Poppy without a shadow of a doiubt x

I am so sorry to read about Poppy's passing. It is really one of the most hardest things we do is say good bye to our sweet fur babies. But, do know we are all here for you whenever you need a huge shoulder to cry on.
RIP Sweet Angel Poppy.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet girl! I pray your heart heals soon, it's such a difficult time. It's been 3 months since I had to say goodbye to my best friend too so I know how devastating it is.

Thank you all so much for your lovely words and thoughts, it really helps to know that Poppy was loved by even those that didn't know her. My thoughts are with you too BostonLover-I hope the pain starts to ease soon.
My Poppy is now on the In Memoriam page joining all the other poor souls who have lost their lives due to the horrible condition. I notice some other people have put photos on of their boys and girls when they were poorly, but mine is of her before Cushing's struck because I want to think of her as the beautiful girl she was. xx

I Love Poppy's picture. It is just perfect! I think the picture is the persons choice always. How they picture them maybe or something like that, but it's personal to each person.
Poppy looks exactly as sweet as you say she was.
hugs!

Thank you all so much. I've just been out in the woods with my other little one Lucy, armed with tissues in case anyone asked about Poppy and I have astounded myself that I didn't cry. I think we did all of our crying over the weekend and now there are no tears left. I am like the Tin Man...I need oiling :)
I would have done anything to have kept Poppy, but looking back, it wasn't fair as she wasn't a happy little girl-but hopefully she will be now xx

I bet she is now too, looking down on you all probably with a little jealousy she is not in the woods but she will have to make do with flying along watching whats happening with her family! Glad you got out for a walk, fresh air and exercise is real helpful with healing... xx
