This is one of my families favorite holiday dishes - home made Cranberry Sauce. If you have a recipe you would like to share, please do! ;)

Linda Mac's Cranberry Sauce

2c cranberries, chopped fairly small
2c sugar
2 small pkgs lemon Jello
1c boiling water
1c pecan pieces
1c celery diced tiny
1/4c orange juice
1 large can crushed Pineapple, drained well

Mix chopped cranberries with sugar and refrigerate over night.

The next day add remaining ingredients, mix well, and let chill over night in fridge.

Slice the bird, serve and enjoy! :D

I did say Happy Thanksgiving on my thread, but you know what, this is cool, just having one where everyone can express their wishes (thanks Leslie!) for a wonderful Thanksgiving and say how much, this forum, the people on this forum and the furbabies whose lives we follow so devoutly on this forum are appreciated for the compassion and the hope that they share so willingly with one and all.

What a wonderful article Belinda. Thanks for posting that. I love feel good stories like this with the added comment, of I hope that every day, can be a special day for these animals and the volunteers who work so tirelessly to help them.
(A one year old Chihuahua, surrendered to be euthanized?!) that is so sad. :( I hope the little one finds a forever home soon.
