Oh that is waaaay too cute glynda!

Halloween is over here for us. 9pm, and the suburbs roll up their streets. LOL School tomorrow too of course.

I can't help thinking of all the little kids in the NE that won't be able to go trick or treating tonight, who don't even have their own beds to sleep in right now and some maybe not for awhile. The devastation is just heart breaking. So, I think that tomorrow I'll find a charity that is helping out the displaced families, maybe Red Cross? and make a donation. I'm making a donation to a clothing drive already with a pickup scheduled.

Here in Canada our city "Toronto" is coordinating to send some of our power crews down to the NE to help out. Other charities are kicking in too and on Sunday we are going to a gala that we attend every year that puts together what they call kinder kits, which has school supplies. They are sent all over the world (and here locally) to kids in need. They will be sending some down to the schools for kids who have need of supplies.

Happy Halloween Everyone! I couldn't be happier to be sharing it this year with such a great group of poeple!

I guess it's just that time of the year and it's what was on my mind tonight as kids in our neighborhood had a great time and I had a blast seeing all the costumes. Molly thought everything was freaky and barked for a good 2 hours. She has now had her walk and is in need of a big Nap!

Oh Sharlene, this is wonderful from our friends up north.... I am sure they will most certainly appreciate this!!!!! (on a side note - one of my most relaxing and memorable vacation years ago was house boating on the Trent Severn and I hope to do it again!!!!!! :) )
