Still looking in from time to time.

For those that remember me (Coco's Mum), do you remember Zedley the Wire Haired Terrier (he was a pedigree at the end of his stud life)? Sadly on the day before Christmas 2011 he had 9 grand mal seizures. Had him on phenobarbitol until 28th Dec and back to the vet. he had lost all cognitive function, so I had to let him go to the Rainbow Bridge. So sad as he was a lovely boy and only 9 years old.

Now I have another Furry friend. Iggy the Affenpinscher, aka Australian Champion Chiniamee Hear no Evil. He is 3 years old and needed a forever, pet home. He has been here 4 weeks, and is all settled in and ruling the roost.:)

Oh Loraine, I am so very happy to hear from you. I am so upset about Zed. I have added him to our Remembrance list. He and Coco I am sure became very fast buds. I will most certainly have to look up what this breed looks like. Post some photos! And do not stay away so long.

Amazing how we can all stay in touch over this wonderful internet. I will put up a pic of Iggy soon. I am just noticing on Facebook that there are lots of Affenpinschers in the US looking for homes  and there are relatively rare here.

Now to find out how to put a pic of him up

Loraine ... it looks as if you managed to post the pic. He is absolutely gorgeous! I am lucky enough to see Loraine every once in a while on another forum. :)

Hi Loraine!!!!!!! <Can you see me waving wildly?? :p>

I'm so terribly sorry to hear about Zedley, but also so excited to read your update about Iggy!! What a cutie-pie! It's been far too long since we've seen you, and it is wonderful to welcome you back. I was bold enough to go ahead and start a new thread here on your behalf. I hope that's OK! But I wanted to make sure that people would be able to keep coming back for updates and to post notes to you. If you should prefer a different thread title, just let me know and I'll quickly make the change.

But in the meantime, it's great to see you and I hope you and Iggy will visit us often. :) :)

With my best wishes, always.
Marianne

Iggy is going to have a night away from his new home.

I have to have a night in hospital for a wrist operation on the 23/24 July so Iggy is going to stay the night with BJ and his humans. BJ is a yellow labrador that I take care of when is family go on hols.

I hope Iggy does not fret and behaves himself.

Ah well, I might have guessed it! Iggy now has a second home and a new Auntie. He settled so will with BJ's family (for the one night), he can find his own way there (with me and no lead). Straight to their back gate, wait for Mum to open it and then run straight in through the doggie door and say hi to your new Auntie:). Then have a wild run around the garden with BJ.

I am so pleased that he settled for his sleep-over and was a good boy.

I am still in a left hand splint, and that comes off next Monday for a lighter, removeable one.

Aaawww, that is so sweet. One smart little cookie. Good to hear your splint comes off - and you are healing well.
