The good old days

Someone put a lot of time and effort into this video. I've watched it four times and will probably watch it several more. It is named, "Rita Hayworth Is 'Stayin' Alive'", starring Rita Hayworth,Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly and others. Even Phil Silvers and Jimmy Durante in a couple of shots. You youngsters may not enjoy it but I grew up watching Rita Hayworth and lots of other old timers in musicals and westerns so I love it! I had forgotten how talented some of these folks were and how pretty Rita Hayworth was. I have a picture of my mom, who looked like Maureen O'Hara's twin in her younger days, in a cute little outfit like the one Rita Hayworth is wearing in one of the clips. The top ties at the midrift and oh how cute that pleated skirt was with the black and white oxfords. :D No wonder my dad fell for her. :D Enjoy!

Share away. I wish I knew who put this video together. It had to have taken a tremendous amount of time and effort to synchronize all those clips with the music. So much fun to watch for us old farts.

Hey...not that old ...just showed my hubby and he knew all of the stars ...left me for dead lol. :D
