A phoenix rose from the ashes and perched precariously from a cliff. He seemed to rule the world - spreading love, friendship, wisdom and loyalty throughout the land. All who were touched by his magic took him into their hearts forever. Then the phoenix slipped and fell and returned to the ashes, only to then be swallowed by the earth. There will never be another phoenix.

Thank you so much to all my good friends at K9cushings and K9diabetes for their kind thoughts and prayers. Ari’s passing was due to a tragic accident and was a terrible shock to our family.
Ari’s friends came from all around the world within 24 hours – some from as far as India and Singapore.
The Navy was wonderful in getting Joshua home to us right away and allowing him to stay for 2 weeks.
My daughter, Aviva, has been a rock – holding shiva at her house for hundreds of people over the week, some of whom, especially Ari’s friends who didn’t want to be alone, stayed until 2:00 or 3:00 every night telling stories.
We never knew our son was loved by so many people and had touched so many lives. That is what keeps us going every day. I guess the light that burns the brightest, burns the quickest.
Again, my love and thanks to all of you. You mean the world to me.
