The toy “Snuggling Furry Friend,” sold as a private brand under the Petco label, was found to contain traces of Trimethyl Benzene, Arsenic, Cadmium and Lead, along with Naphthalene, the main ingredient in moth balls.

This is why I try to find toys made here in the USA. Our furbabies put all of this stuff in their mouths. Ella rips stuffed toys apart if I am not looking; so it really makes me be cautious.

I think I posted an article a ways back talking about toys made in China. This article also said how bad tennis balls are especially when they are wet--it has something to do with the glue. :eek:

Petco and Petsmart mostly have toys made in China. Even the Kong products are made in China--except for the original Kong.
