Thank you Cindy, Sas, Carrol, and Leslie.

I'm doing a little better today. I actually went shopping for a little while to get a few things I've needed for a long time. I'm finally making my restore discs. It's only 6 months since I got my new PC.

All of you and your furbabies are also in my thoughts and prayers. I love all of you.

Terri,

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Corky fought a great battle to spend as much time with you as possible. Renal failure is a terrible thing and you were right to release him. He will remain with you always.

Mornin' sweetie,

Last nite I was thinking about you, Corky and Jay when something became very clear to me. You have heard me say that I believe everything happens for a reason. I believe Corky was sent to you, and you alone. That is why none of the other pups ya'll looked at were quite "right" - and why, when you finally saw him, you knew Corky was the one. He had a job to do in your life, a purpose no one else could fulfill.

Corky came into your world and heart to teach you another kind of love, one that is beyond compare. With that love the two of you shared, Corky helped you heal when Jay had to go. His love held you up, gave you the strength to face each day that followed, and buffered your soul from the anguish of loneliness when you needed it most. Corky and Squirt had to save their moms from the ravages of life, from the depths of pain and loss that were to come into each of our lives. Our fur-clad saviors gave us the ability to walk through each day, growing stronger until we could once again walk on our own.

I am so glad I got to know Corky, another hero who saved his mom. And I am so blessed to love and be loved by his amazing mom.

Many hugs dear friend,
Leslie and the gang

Dear Terri,

You remain in my prayers, also. I am sitting here thinking of you as the sun comes up over our stormy ocean and praying for your day. Leslie is so right about the wonderful comfort these furangels are sent to bless us with. I have a story of my own, which I can't share here, but can say I believe Kirby was sent to us to help us deal with a heartbreak in our own family. I pray that, today, Love sends you the comfort you need and I thank you for the support you always are to me and Kirby.
Warm hugs and aloha,

Tricia and Kirby

Dear Terri,
My prayers are with you as you go through the process of missing the Corkster. How so many of us know the empty feeling in our homes, but in our hearts we are filled with so many wonderful memories.:)

You are a wonderful giving person!!!:)

Thank you so much everyone. I have really been blessed to have such very dear friends.

Leslie, you put this so beautifully. Tricia, I'm glad I can be here for you. I also believe that things happen for a reason. I would really have been lost when Jay passed away, if Corky wasn't here with me.

I set up a memorial for Corky on his blanket in front of the fireplace. Jay gave me a Sandicast Sculpture of a Boston Terrier for my birthday the first year we got Corky. It's just about as big as Corky, and it almost looks like him. I put a few of his favorite toys there. I have been getting flowers and sympathy cards from my friends, which are part of his memorial. Corky touched the hearts of so many, and so many people loved him. He will always be in my heart, and he will always be with me.

I'm sending you lots of love my dear friends.

Dearest Terri,
We all miss that little face and sweet Corky will remain forever in all our hearts. He truly was something special.
It is true that our wee ones help us survive the most awful circumstances. I know I would not be here today if not for Miss Chloe - she was my reason to keep going - and when she developed Cushings, it was my time to give back.
I am sending more love and hugs to you today and hope that, in some small way, it makes you day a little better.
Love,
Carrol

Thank you so much my dear friend for the love and hugs. It means alot to me Carrol. Corky was very special. He gave everything he had to give, and then some. Our little ones were always here for us. I feel the same way about Corky as you did about Miss Chloe. I needed to do everything for Corky that I could possibly do for him.

Thank you my dear friend. I put a picture of Corky's Memorial in his album. I was just looking at the pictures I have in his album, and I forgot about the one of him at Christmas a couple of years ago. He was worn out and was sleeping on the same blanket.

We will talk soon. I hope Penny is okay. Give her lots of belly rubs from me.

Terri, I am so touched by your memorial to Corky. He was a funny little boy and I love his photos. His photos always put a smile on my face.

Leslie's words are so true, I found my Casey was sent to me after a heartbreak of my own - she was sitting so quietly at the fence of a kennel of 12 puppies all clamoring to get close. Her eyes spoke to me and even though she was a gift for someone else, 6 months later she became my dog. I truly believe that Corky spoke to you and he was meant to be your dog and help you deal with your loss.

Hugs to you my dear friend,

Corky's ashes are home. I now have a sense of closure. There are so many things I want to write about Corky, but it's something I can't do yet.

Thank you everyone for everything.

I think it's now time to move Corky's thread.

Corky will always be loved, and he will never be forgotten. RIP my little one.
