Seth Update

Hello!!
Seth goes back to the holistic vet this Wednesday to see how he is doing. I may not keep going every month , getting too expensive and he is doing well. We switched vets last week. Kayla was the first patient but Seth got weighed. He has stopped losing weight, so I have to get tougher. He has lost 12 pounds, now weighs 118 lbs.
He seems back to his old self and doing really great. He still have weak hind legs but I am learning how to exercise him without causing him to be lame. All a learning and growing experience and I think its starting to hit home that lesson. I am hoping the new vet after reviewing his records orders some lab work on him and takes his illness more serious. Thanks for the new site!!

Seth Bd is tomorrow May 1st. He is going to be 6 years old. He has been doing really well, but today he was really sore and stiff. I think I started pushing him again and need to slack back some. He started on a natural thyroid medicine and it seems to be helping him some.

I havent been on in awhile, found the new site.Its great. Seth has been doing well, still losing weight . now 115. I got his blood work done on Friday at the new vets. (what a difference) I just got the call and she is checking with the specialist to see what treatments need changed , etc..should know more by end of week. His liver enzymes have decreased from 1613 to 1278, thank you for the milk thristle and same advice. His try's have increase by alot...they keeps going up... from 308 in December to 620 now... could cause pancrese problems she said (what a difference a vet who explains things and talks to you about it all). So, should know more in a week, depends on how long the specialist takes...ect. Anyone have experience with this?? Otherwise he is doing well, acting happy.. all other blood work normal ... so I really can be thankful. I am just not sure how much the hollistic route helped or didnt ???
