Hey, I am picketts and have a 13 year old jack russell chihuahua mix. She just had a pre and post acth cortisol test with a pre result of 11.0 ug/dl and a post result of 2.5 ug/dl. Can any one help me interpret these results? Thank you for the help.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
In order to interpret the acth stim test result, we need to know if the test was done to diagnosis a suspected disorder or was it done to monitor cushing's treatment? Can you please also let us know what was going on with your dog that took you to the vet in the first place?
Glynda
Hi and Welcome,
I'm glad you found us but sorry you needed to. We have all been where you are right now. Our moderators and administrators can offer their opinions and are very knowledgeable but they do ask a ton of questions:D Cushings is not all black and white, so to speak.
So they usually like to know what symptoms your pup has, what tests, what the results were, what your vet has concluded, etc. Then they can help sift through the information. Don't be scared, they don't bite, really:D;)
We are here to offer support in any way you may need it and they will be able to answer your question once you give them more info.
Hugs,
Addy
