Casey at 15 years is getting a bit stiff on our walks. I don't want to use Tramadol (last time it made her loopy) and I am sure she needs an anti inflamatory for her arthritis issues. Has anyone had success with Duralactin? I showed the information to my vet and they seemed a bit skeptical as to the company's claims and testing but they didn't think it would hurt Casey so I was going to give it a try.

We can't get it in Canada so I need to order it and pick it up in Michigan. Just wondered if anyone has used it and what success they have had if any.

P.S. she had her ACTH test on Monday with fab results so I am pleased.

Yes! I will link you to the thread I started on it but fyi I learned about from the head of the Small Animal Science dept at Kansas State University who recommended it for Annie. They have had success with it. Most vets have never heard of it so that is probably why they were skeptical...

I give her 1/2 pill a.m. and 1/2 pill pm and though with her finnicky appetite she hates anything sweet (they are vanilla flavored) I put them in her food ground up. If I miss giving her one I can tell. It makes that much difference.

Hope this helps!

Thank you Kim! I will let the vets know this too because they said if it helps Casey it will help others with the same issue. I am not sure if they can recommend something that isn't available in Canada.

I am ordering tomorrow - glad to know it helps Annie!

Love and hugs,
