Fritz and me - My sweet boy is gone

I want to thank everyone on this site for all of the help given me while dealing with Fritz's ailments. Fritz developed Diabetes and also had Cushings. He was in ICU vet hospital in Dallas and seemed to improve for two days but then took a downturn. It is hard to let go but the Dr. and I agreed to try to further his treatment was cruel. So my sweet boy is gone for now but I know we will meet up on the Rainbow Bridge.

I am so, so sorry to hear about little Fritz. It sounded as if he were turning the corner and I had such high hopes. I know you are devastated. :(

Please be good to yourself; you did all you could for your sweet boy and I know he is so very grateful to you. Like you, I believe one day we will hold our babies again, smother their faces with kisses, never to be parted. Til then, Fritz is with you always in spirit, watching over you with the same love and devotion you showed to him.

Hi Carole,

I know the feeling of lost--too quiet, empty, everything seems to remind you of Fritz. You are a week ahead of me in mending, but it still will touch your heart when you think of them. Today is better for me except when one of my neighbors asked how Maddie was and I had to tell her--she started crying and said she was so sorry; of course I started the tears. Someone else told me today that it has been 7 years since their lab passed and he still gets misty eyed.

Take care of yourself--you did a great job for Fritz -you were there for him--and no one can tell you differently!!!
