Hi, all! Because beagles are the "dog of choice" for product research and I have come to know some folks who have adopted dogs who have come out of research facilities and their stories break my heart, I wanted to share a website where you can locate companies who test with animals and without.

Judy, I'm not sure you know this but there are breeders that breed Beagles specifically for laboratory research. In this case, being a breed that is known for their wonderful disposition is a curse.

I am absolutely against animal testing for the sake of vanity and a clean house. If these companies want to torture live beings, how about death row inmates or convicted animal abusers. That works for me.

OMG, that is horrific! Animal testing on dogs? That's downright cruel, evil and animal abuse alright. Glynda, Sweetheart, I couldnt agree with you more--perform these acts on the scum of this earth we are unfortunately supporting financially. UGH, so sad and despicable to witness how our system continues to fail the good guy and works for the perpetrator.

There are lots of great sites that tell you which products are not tested on animals.

It s getting easier to find these products now and that has to be a good thing.
