Just so you all know Simon and I are going to CA for a while, and I'm going to be getting ready packing, we haven't dropped off the charts here. My sister needs surgery, one doctor thinks she has ovarian cancer, so I would really appreciate all the prayers that you all are able to muster - I know there is so much to pray for here. But my sis has identical twin autistic 5 year olds, and they really need her, not to mention the rest of my family. I don't think I can cope with bad news for her and what I'm facoing with Simon, but I know God won't give me more than I can handle. Just wanted to ask any prayer warriors here if they could say an extra prayer that my sister will be fine and that this is nothing serious. They misdiagnosed me with stage four ovarian cancer about 8 or 9 years ago, I am praying for another miracle on my sister's behalf. I truly appreciate anyone who joins me in that prayer. Her surgery will be at 4 CA time on the 7th. Could also use prayers for Simon and I to have a safe drive rhere and back, I'm taking a little bigger RV size than I am used to. Thank you all, you are a wonderful support group in all things dog and human.
We love you all,
Dena, Simon, and pack
PS. Also I will be nervous about the six staying home with a new dogsitter, so please pray that goes well too - if you have any extra prayer left in you. <3

I totally agree with you that God only gives us as much as we can handle.
Have a safe trip. Please keep us posted as to how everything is going.

Thank you all so much. I hope I remember my computer! I will be lost without you all. Plus Simon is coming with me, so I will probably have reports of his antics, hopefully not his health - though I was thinking of checking with some specialists in CA. Your care and your prayers mean so much to us.
Much love to all,
Dena and dogs

Thank each and every one of you for your faithful prayers. When I got to the hospital things looked more serious when I realized, they thought that their might be some intestinal involvement in my sisters ovarian cancer problem.
Praise and thank God, and thanks very much to your prayers I know, my sister does NOT have ANY cancer. Just endometriosis! That is the third complete and total miracle for my family.
I cannot really ever thank you all enough!!!! But thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

Dena - I know you must be so relieved. There's nothing much worse than ovarian cancer. It runs in my family and I've lost too many relatives to it, so I was praying that your sister did not have it. I'm relieved for you and your entire family! Sue

Oh my gosh, thank goodness! I having been posting on your other thread so you probably thought I had forgotten about you! Endometriosis is certainly manageable with medication and your sister can get back to living her life! I have had a knot in my stomach since yesterday. I came in from work and went right to the computer. Had tears of relief (as you surely had) when I read your good news.
God bless and let's hope that this is an indication that Simon will get on track too!:D

My sister needs a lot of attention right now, so I will get back with you all ASAP. I just wanted to post another "THANK YOU" to you ALL and tell you how grateful I am to God that I found such a wonderful support group. I know for sure now more than ever that God truly will not give me more than I can handle. That is so deeply reassuring, and I hope that this miracle for my sister, reassures all of you at least a little too. I have witnessed and heard the stories of MANY miracles for dogs (and their owners). Anyone interested in tapping into some extra prayer power for your dog (or yourself) there is a wonderful group that prayed for me when I was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer (and turned out miraculously cancer free) just like my sister did. I have seen so many posts of so many miracles for people and pets, I would feel selfish not to share the site with you all. It is on facebook, just search "Prayers for Pets" and on the Internet, where I first found them nine years ago at www.prayersforpets.org.. I do not mean to "push" it on anyone, or anything like that. But it has been a very encouraging part of my life, to see so many answered prayers. To be honest, it can be discouraging too if you feel that your prayers are not being answered - but here is how I look at it - I really believe that life is not just chaos and it all makes perfect sense in the end. Even when it seems like chaos from our perspective at the point in time or place we are in in our lives. I believe God answers all prayers, sometimes He says "yes" sometimes He says "wait" and sometimes He says "no", and when he says "no" there is a reason that is for the better of you and who you are praying for that just may not make sense to us at this stage in our lives. God is Love - I really believe that, and I know that He can completely heal Simon if He wants to. But there also might be a lot that we end up learning from this and a lot of ways we grow from it that may not have happened if His answer was yes, or was right away yes. I am hoping (and praying) that it is "wait". :-)Anyway, I just thought I would share the group with those of you that have visited here - I am guessing most of you that posted believe in prayer, and I wanted to share a resource that has helped many people and their pets. If in any way it offends any one, that is not my intention, so please just ignore it and feel free to write me off as a nut. But I really believe in the power of prayer, and that God hears all of our prayers. And I also believe that this is another resource that some of you might find helpful ... at least that is my prayer for all of you and all of your loved ones.
Love,
Dena and pack
PS. THANK YOU AGAIN for your prayers, and I thank God that His answer in my sister's case was "yes". I think there are more "yeses" waiting to happen ... and this is coming from a cynic and a skeptic, believe me when I say that, but I have seen so many miracles on that site, it truly encourages me. I hope it will some of you as well.
I LOVE YOU ALL!

We are going to take our time driving back, so, back to those of you that pray, if you have time to pray for us to have a safe trip, and for Simon's tummy to feel much better, it is GREATLY appreciated!
:):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
ALSO, could everyone who has posted here, or in my other thread send a friend request, if we aren't already friends? Also, it will make life easier for me if you can post a link to your thread on our little "visitors messages" area. And if you don't know what I'm talking about (a few of my friends won't - you know who you are, I won't embarrass you, and you shouldn't be embarrassed anyway) just ask a moderator or ask in the how to section. If you post your thread on our visitor message area, I promise to read your entire thread by the middle of next week at the latest. We want to get to know you all, and your stories. You have helped us so much! God bless you all, and all of your loved ones more and more each day.
Love,
Dena, Simon and pack
