Phoebe certainly lives up to this. She is now 18 and wasn't fixed until we adopted her at age 10.

She has had many mammary tumors removed that we were told could be because she was kept intact for so long.

We have been lucky that her lumps are just that and no cancer but I wonder whether we would still have her if she had been fixed early or whether the lumps would have grown?????
