Dear Brenna,

It’s just not fair … I am so sorry about your Brandy. I know you put your heart and soul into keeping Brandy as well as possible.
I am not a spiritual person but who knows, perhaps there is a place they all meet. If yes, then your Brandy and my Phillip along with the other pups who have passed are going to have a blast.

Hugs,
Nathalie

Hi. I read what you wrote on these last pages. I too saw the same reactions from my seven yr old husky. I lost her just one day before your loss to liver and lung cancer. Really sucks don't it. I'm so sorry.

Oh Brenna,

My heart just sank when I read your post. I am so sorry for your loss. You and Brandy both fought so hard to over come this latest and it seemed you were winning again.

There is no doubt Brandy is so grateful to you for all you have done for her and for letting her go when there was nothing more you could do. She was so very lucky to have you as her mom, Brenna. Your love for her is evident in your every word.

We will always honor your sweet Brandy here and when you are up to it, we would be blessed to share in stories of her life with you.

With tears and deepest sympathy,
Leslie, Squirt, Trinket, and our Angels, Ruby and Crystal

Brenna, I am so sorry to hear about Brandy's passing. You were such a great mom to her and gave her the greatest gift that can be given. She now runs free from pain and sickness through the sunny fields of heaven with all her new friends. One thing does amaze me - she waited until Thanksgiving was over to get ready to cross the rainbow bridge. She wanted her mom to have a good holiday. That says more and should give you more comfort than all our words together. You were blessed to have her as she was to have you. I look forward to knowing her better when you are ready to share some of your stories. Until then, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
And to Brandy - Run with the wind at your back and the sun in your face sweet princess. God bless.

Dear Brenna,

I join all the others in telling you how terribly sorry I am. As Terry has said, please do stay with us. It may be a very long time before you feel up to writing more than just a word or two. But whatever you wish to write and on whatever timetable -- we will be here for you, always.

Many, many hugs to you in memory of your brave, sweet girl.

Oh Brenna -

I am so saddened to read about Brandy. We do what we can but sometimes, it is clearly out of our hands and the only right thing is to let them go. You were brave enough to do that for Brandy. Sending hugs. Godspeed, sweet Brandy. sue

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for the overwhelming support. I have read every post several times and I am speechless at how amazing you all have been through this difficult time. I have never cried so much in my life. They say it's supposed to get better each day, but I don't feel that. Every day without Brandy has been incredibly empty. I will definitely post more when I am able to. Thank you so much for being there. It means the world to me.

For anybody that may be interested, I added a picture to Brandy's album. I didn't know it until yesterday, but Jay took this picture the day (Tuesday) that we took Brandy for her last car ride. I was holding her in the backseat. I am so grateful to have this picture.

Brenna I am so sorry for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I went to see your picture with Brandy and I couldn't content my tears...but at the same time I felt the great love you two shared and it made me think: yeah the pain is so sharp when they are not next to us, but there's no other way that we could experience such a grand and undescriptible kind of love on earth...

Sweet Brandy I love your face, it reminds me a lot of my Truffa's face, a mix of sweetness, wise , serenity and profound gratefulness for the live you have carried and for the family that surrounded you. Godspeed and keep looking over your mom and all your family on earth.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hi Glynda,

Thank you so much for thinking of me on my birthday. That was so sweet. I do come here every once in awhile. I miss Brandy everyday. She left a huge hole in my heart. Coming here has always been a comfort to me :)

I do have a new boy "Phoenix" to love. He's a 5 year old rescued Boxer. I started fostering him after I lost Brandy and then decided to adopt him. He's great! He's had a rough and abusive past, but he knows he's safe now :) So far, he has been incredibly healthy too!

I did enjoy my birthday... thank you again :) Brenna

Hi Brenna,

I am so happy to hear that you have a new baby boy in the family. Isn't it amazing that no matter how much abuse a dog suffers at the hands of a human, they never hold a grudge and their capacity to love their human never wanes. I'm glad he now has an amazing mom and that he finally knows what it's like to be loved and nurtured. Phoenix is a mighty lucky guy and apparently very easy to love. I know what it's like to be a foster failure. :D Bless you for stepping up for your boy and I do hope you will share some pictures with us.

Hugs
Glynda
