What have you paid for an LDDS Test? U.S. Dollars

This is a poll to help new members get an idea of what the cost are involved with the diagnosis of K9cushings via the LDDS test (Low dose dexamethasone suppression test)

In Pittsburgh, PA, I just paid $144 for the LDDS test and an additional $38 for her staying there for 8 hours! So, a total of $182.

I live in Connecticut and I paid $169.00 for the test, at a regular vet's office. Since we had spent so much money leading up to the cushings diagnosis(blood work, xrays, complete allergy testing, etc.), my vet has definitely been cutting us some deals so the $169 was just for the test itself, she did not charge us for the visit.

Wow! I'm moving to CT or WI. I paid way over $225.00 (in U.S. dollars:D), in New Jersey. I suppose Jersey vets think they're it! LOL

I live in Rock Hill, SC (just outside of Charlotte, NC) - I paid $206.00 last week.

I paid a total of $186.42 for the LDDS testing. The test itself was $111. "Nurse" charge was $40 for the 8 hours required for the test. The inpatient fee was $35.42. The test was performed on July 6, 2017 at the NC State University Veterinary Hospital through the Internal Medicine Dept.

A couple weeks ago at a specialty hospital in north central Florida our total for a LDDS was $293. $10 for the dexamethasone, $260ish for the test itself sent out to an Idexx lab, and some tax. The test charge seemed fairly all-inclusive...there were no day boarding/outpatient hospitalization fees, biohazard fees, nurse fees, etc.
